Raw pistachios, sold in 200-gram quantities, at Greco's Specialty Foods Market located at 6886 King George Blvd., Surrey, B.C., from July 12, 2024 to Nov. 24, 2025. Pistachios, sold in varying quantities at the Sunrise Market at 300 Powell St., Vancouver, from July 9, 2024, to July 9, 2025."
"Raw, natural pistachios, in 160-gram quantities and sold in Quebec under the Paparico Rotisseur de noix brand. The affected products have a UPC number of 0 62467 00104 4. Four different lot numbers are among the affected products. The full details can be found here, under the recall publish date of Dec. 16. Raw, shelled pistachio kernels, in 10-kilogram quantities, sold under the Tootsi brand to hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia."
Nineteen more pistachio and pistachio-containing products were added to Canadian recalls over possible salmonella contamination, bringing the combined list to more than 200 items on the CFIA recall listings. The new listings span eight provinces and include items sold at retail markets and distributed to hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers. Affected products include raw, shelled and packaged pistachios sold under brands and at specific stores with listed UPC and lot numbers, with sale dates ranging from mid-2024 through 2025. Consumers are advised to consult CFIA listings for full product details and recall dates.
