Real Madrid great Marcelo has announced his retirement from professional football at age 36 after an illustrious 15-year career with the club, where he won 25 trophies, including five Champions League titles and six LaLiga titles. Marcelo made 546 appearances for Madrid, ranking 13th all-time and also represented Brazil 58 times. After finishing his tenure at Madrid, he briefly joined Olympiacos before returning to Fluminense. In a heartfelt farewell, he reflected on his journey and contributions to football as he moves on to a new chapter in his life.
