Police charged 75-year-old luxury real estate agent Gail Bomze with third-degree assault and endangering a child after a bite incident at an East Hampton beach concert. Concertgoers and staff reported a scramble for a tossed free t-shirt during a family-friendly sunset event, during which a woman allegedly punched, kicked and bit a seven-year-old girl. The bite reportedly broke the child’s skin, leaving her arm bloody and swollen. Officers searched the venue, later arresting and issuing an appearance ticket to Bomze, who denies the allegations. Bomze has sold high-value Manhattan properties and is known in social circles.
According to an arrest report seen by Page Six, Bomze who sold the $4 million apartment of talk show legend Geraldo Rivera, and once listed a Park Avenue townhouse for $22 million was at the free, family-friendly Tuesdays on Main beach concert in chic East Hampton last week. According to police reports, a woman punched and kicked other concertgoers and bit a seven-year-old girl while trying to snag a free t-shirt as the sunset beach party.
The report says that an event staffer tossed a t-shirt from a balcony and that a woman was seen kicking and punching kids while trying to get her hands on the freebie. One little girl told cops that the woman grabbed her right arm and bit [it]. According to the report, the bite broke the skin, leaving the youngster's arm bloody and swollen.
