Nashville Home Prices Down in September
"Typically, home price per square foot in Nashville tend to fall in September. But the most recent data shows that the price per square foot increased by 0.1% compared with the month before. In September, Nashville's median listing price was $605,000, a slight month-over-month decline. The number of listings was virtually unchanged from the prior month but represented a larger-than-normal seasonal decrease. Price per square foot rose 0.1% month-over-month in Nashville while the national per-square-foot price fell 0.8%. Inventory totaled 3,174 homes, down 0.2% month-over-month and up 18.7% year-over-year. National active inventory rose 0.2% to 1,100,407. Homes in Nashville averaged 69 days on market, one day longer than last month and ten days longer year-over-year, versus 62 days nationally.
