How Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee got married on the beach 30 years ago - four days after their first date
Briefly

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's iconic whirlwind romance began on New Year's Eve, culminating in a spontaneous beach wedding in Cancun just days later on February 19, 1995. After proclaiming his intentions during their first date, Lee proposed at a nightclub saying, "I'm going to marry you," which took Anderson by surprise. Their beachside vows featured unconventional attire, with Anderson in a bikini and Lee in board shorts. Despite only a brief marriage, ending in 1998, they remained a notable couple of the '90s, remembered for their passionate love story.

We asked the hotel to find someone to perform a marriage ceremony... and were on the beach getting married before the day was over.
It really was love at first sight,' Anderson told People in 2015. 'I only knew him four days before I married him.'
