Why you get paid MORE when you take time off in Sweden
Briefly

Most Swedish employees receive a 'holiday supplement' when taking their annual leave. They get a bonus for not being at work, calculated as a percentage of their monthly salary.
Employees are entitled to a minimum of 25 days' paid annual leave, with at least 20 days to be taken each tax year. The holiday pay is usually paid out as part of the normal salary.
