Runners faced a historic course with varied terrain, beginning with a challenging 13 miles on the Appalachian Trail followed by a flatter 26.2 miles along the C&O Canal.
The JFK 50 Mile, initiated as part of President Kennedy's initiative, continues to embody its military roots while attracting elite athletes aiming for personal records and course achievements.
Sinclair finished the race in 5:08:26, breaking the men's record by more than 10 minutes, while Drake's performance further highlighted the importance of elite competition in the event.
