RSI Europe, a Lithuanian drone manufacturer, was established following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The CEO, Tomas Milašauskas, highlighted the company's mission to create military equipment that assists Ukraine in its fight. Originally developing remote explosive systems, RSI shifted focus to FPV drones due to their effective deployment in the conflict. Their key products include the RISE-1 system and Shpak FPV quadcopter, which offers increased precision in strikes against enemy targets. Despite challenges from electronic warfare, RSI aims to enhance Ukraine's military capabilities with its innovative technology.
"Our mission is very simple. To produce the military equipment that helps Ukraine win," Milašauskas said. The company responds to the urgency presented by ongoing conflict.
Initially focusing on remote explosives initiation systems, RSI adapted to the war's demand for FPV drones, offering cheaper and precise alternatives to traditional artillery.
