On his radio show, Fox News' Mark Levin criticized President Donald Trump's misleading statements regarding the Ukraine war and President Zelensky. Levin emphasized the importance of understanding Vladimir Putin's historical context, calling attention to Putin's crimes and Ukraine's constitutional obligations during wartime. He framed Trump's comments as unsupported by facts, insisting that American citizens need accurate information to form their opinions. Levin also distinguished his views from those who misrepresent the sentiments of the MAGA base, condemning Putin's hypocritical demands for an election in Ukraine while suppressing democracy in his own country.
Now look, I don't have a problem if it's the position of our administration to cut back on support for Ukraine which I oppose, by the way then so be it. Elections have consequences, so be it. But I want to make sure the facts are on the table and you, the American people, draw your own conclusion.
Zelensky ordered martial law that's what the constitution there compelled. Zelensky hasn't called for an election - that's what the constitution there compels.
I mean, this is almost comical in a sick way that Putin is demanding an election. Why is he demanding an election in Ukraine when he doesn't have free and real elections in his own country?
People claim to be speaking for you, who are not speaking for you, who are in the media, who are in other positions and so forth.
