Trump Advisor Mike Waltz Immediately Goes Back to Bashing Zelensky After Being Asked if Putin's Ready for Peace on Fox News
Briefly

Mike Waltz, Trump's former National Security Advisor, expressed concerns over Ukrainian President Zelensky's readiness to engage in peace negotiations with Russia. In a Fox News interview, Waltz lamented a recent disagreement in the Oval Office and criticized Zelensky for not achieving a positive outcome. While he acknowledged European leaders' calls for a ceasefire and security guarantees, he emphasized that Zelensky must signal his willingness to negotiate and make compromises essential for peace. Without Zelensky's commitment, Waltz warned that continuing the war could lead to dire consequences for Ukraine.
"I think President Zelensky truly did his country a real disservice by not having a positive outcome Friday," said Waltz.
"If you can align all this up, sir, you then put the pressure on Putin to find out whether or not he is ready for peace," noted Hemmer.
"But we need to hear that President Zelensky is ready to take the steps necessary to end the fighting," answered Waltz.
"What we don't have right now is President Zelensky saying, I am ready to take the steps necessary and make the compromises necessary to end the fighting," stated Waltz.
