Burlesque teacher aims to break online dance class world record
Briefly

Priscilla Silcock, also known as Sapphira, invites the community to participate in her world record attempt for burlesque, which will occur on April 27. This event seeks to surpass the current record of 155 participants, coordinated by Sapphira last year. Coinciding with World Burlesque Day, the event aims to raise awareness of mental health issues, with proceeds supporting the charity SANE. Participants from around the globe are encouraged to join, and the event will honor the late Hilda Green, a former Paris cabaret performer.
"Everyone aged 18-plus is invited to try a fun and easy workplace-appropriate burlesque dance from the comfort of home. We have participants from Chile, Mexico, Finland and New Zealand already signed up..."
"The event aims to break the record of 155 people, which Sapphira co-ordinated last year, following World Burlesque Day to elevate links between burlesque and mental health."
