Kate Kendell, appointed as the new CEO of the Gill Foundation, emphasizes the urgency of fighting for LGBTQ+ rights, reflecting on setbacks since 2018. She aims to mobilize resources and support to safeguard hard-won advancements. The Gill Foundation, known for substantial contributions to LGBTQ+ causes, has a rich history in advocacy and support, having invested over $446 million since its inception in 1994. Kendell, formerly with the National Center for Lesbian Rights, sees her return as timely and essential in the current socio-political landscape.

Since its inception in 1994, the Gill Foundation has invested more than $446 million in programs and nonprofit organizations around the nation.
