The Gyuto Foundation, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in East Richmond Heights, is hosting a celebration for the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama during their annual Monlam Prayer Festival for world peace. This celebration will occur on March 30, 2025, following a three-day festival, and coincides with the Gyuto Foundation's 25th anniversary. Everyone in the community is invited, regardless of their faith, with English translations provided via FM radio. The celebration emphasizes unity and peace within the community, highlighting the significance of this cultural event.
We are so happy that these events have coincided with The Gyuto Foundation's 25th Anniversary, which we will also be celebrating on April 5th.
All in the community, Buddhist or not, are welcome to join in the festivities with English translation available through FM radio.
