Intrigued by the nostalgia of KFC buffets, which were especially popular in the 80s, they find limited information but discover enthusiastic fans online mapping remaining locations. Upon arrival at the restaurant, they are greeted with a standard KFC setting but an extensive self-serve buffet. While enjoying their meals, they note the pleasant surprise of the food offered but are left wishing for mac and cheese among the sides.
I ordered two buffet dinners at the counter, handed back two plastic trays with a large Styrofoam plate, a dessert plate, and a spork.
