In a tragic Feb. 2025 shooting spree in Tamarac, FL, Nathan Gingles has been charged with the first-degree murders of his estranged wife Mary, her father David Ponzer, and neighbor Andrew Ferrin. Days prior, Mary expressed her fears in a court document regarding Nathan's history of threats and violence, highlighting her desperation as she sought protection. Her father had come to help her amid her impending divorce. During the attack, Mary was fatally targeted as she attempted to escape her husband's assault, leading to an Amber Alert for their daughter.
"Because of Nathan's psychotic behavior, his multiple threats, his drug use, his multiple/many silenced firearms, and my impending divorce action, I am afraid Nathan will kill me and my daughter," Mary wrote less than two weeks before she was murdered.
