Bay Area officials get hand-off for Super Bowl 60 - San Jose Spotlight
Briefly

As South Bay gears up for Super Bowl 60 at Levi's Stadium, local leaders, including Mayor Matt Mahan, visited New Orleans to study its Super Bowl hosting best practices. This step aims to avoid the issues seen during Super Bowl 50, where San Francisco gained more recognition despite the game being in Santa Clara. Officials observed operations like security and emergency responses, stressing the importance of including the entire Bay Area in festivities, which differ due to its larger geography.
"It provided invaluable insights to those who attended," de la Vega told San José Spotlight.
"It felt like being in the dressing room before you get out (to) play a really important game," Janmohamed told San José Spotlight.
"For me, it's not just about the game on the field, it's actually about the week before, the months before. It's about how do you bring football out into the communities in the Bay," she said.
