The project, which includes high-end camping facilities and fire pits, is criticized for its potential environmental impact, notably flood risks and fire hazards. With over 1,000 signatures collected against it and significant fundraising efforts aimed at halting the project, residents argue it is inappropriate for the location, citing safety issues on nearby Silverado Trail known for accidents.
