The attack, captured on security cameras, occurred when the office was empty, with no injuries reported. Party chairman Christian Forte condemned the act as political violence and highlighted a pattern of harassment faced by the party's staff. Forte called for community leaders to denounce such violence, stressing that political discourse should remain civil and that violent acts will not be tolerated.
The County Republican Party regularly receives angry, if not threatening, phone calls harassing our volunteer staff, but never have we been the victim of such a violent attack.
Political violence is completely unacceptable and will not stand unaddressed. I pledge that we will only be part of the solution, and never part of the problem.
