Trump ally and rising California GOP star Essayli named top federal prosecutor in L.A.

Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed Bill Essayli as interim U.S. attorney for Los Angeles. Previously a prosecutor, Essayli is a controversial Republican known for critiquing California's liberal policies.
