"A 4-year-old French bulldog named Hank was located in Oakland on Friday, after being stolen from San Francisco's Castro neighborhood more than a week ago, police said. The dog owner called the police department on Dec. 10 after an unknown person picked up the dog from the sidewalk and ran away, the San Francisco Police Department said in a news release. On Wednesday, police arrested a suspect, a 44-year-old Oakland resident, in his vehicle at San Carlos Avenue and High Street."
"Police said they searched the suspect's vehicle and found evidence related to the theft. He was booked into the San Francisco County Jail, where he is facing a felony charge for grand theft. According to inmate records, he is also facing an animal cruelty charge and is being held on $100,000 bail.
