Micah Parsons praises Dexter Lawrence but still has Giants beef over draft: 'It's personal with them'
Briefly

Micah Parsons, reflecting on the Giants' decision to bypass him during the 2021 NFL Draft, reveals his discontent over the missed opportunity. He notes that playing alongside Dexter Lawrence could have propelled his career, theorizing he could have achieved significantly more career sacks. Parsons offers advice to rookie Kayvon Thibodeaux, encouraging him to leverage Lawrence's imposing presence to succeed. His sentiments reveal a strong personal rivalry with the Giants, reinforced by claims that the team misrepresented their intentions during the draft process.
"I'll never forget it," Parsons told The Post on Thursday at Super Bowl 2025 radio row. "Honestly, playing next to Dexter Lawrence, I'd probably have 60 career sacks already. He's a dawg."
"If I was Kayvon, I would line up to Dexter Lawrence's side every time, make your best move every time," Parsons said.
"The Giants lied to me," Parsons later told CBS Sports. "People don't know this: They told me that if I fell to No. 11, they were going to pick me. I swear."
