SF Giants' Miller brought back old pitch, and it's giving hitters new fits
Briefly

Erik Miller, a left-handed pitcher for the Giants, has revived his sinker pitch after a seven-year hiatus. Martinez encouraged Miller to experiment with the sinker, which complements his four-seam fastball and poses challenges for left-handed hitters. This strategic adjustment not only reintroduces an old pitch for Miller but also enhances his ability to neutralize opponents, showcasing an impressive combination of velocity and movement with his newly developed sinker.
