REPORT: Sharks Centers Driving Most Interest Among Pending UFAs
Briefly

On the recent 32 Thoughts podcast, Elliotte Friedman discussed the potential moves the San Jose Sharks might make as the March 7 NHL trade deadline approaches. With some trades already made, Luke Kunin and Nico Sturm have emerged as significant targets for other teams. Friedman noted that these players are highly sought after, particularly due to their versatility and value. Speculation also centered around the Toronto Maple Leafs' interest in Kunin, who is a right shot center, making him a fitting acquisition for their lineup.
I think you deal with your UFAs. Luke Kunin Nico Sturm. The thing about those guys, there's a group of really solid players... Teams kind of have those guys on their list.
They are saying, when do we feel we need to make the move? Are we trying something else and then coming back to them? Is this one of the guys we just decide we want based on what else is out there?
Kunin is a right shot, so I think that adds to his value. One of the reasons why I think Toronto has been around on Kunin is they really want to get a right shot center.
