The San Jose Sharks have issued qualifying offers to seven restricted free agents but left four - Addison, Peterson, Studnicka, and Zadina - free to sign elsewhere.
Zadina signed a $1.1 million contract last year with the Sharks after terminating his deal with the Red Wings. Studnicka played 22 games for the Sharks, averaging 11:27 in ice time per game.
The Sharks' moves provide roster flexibility ahead of free agency. The development camp will include recent draft class members like Celebrini, Dickinson, Smith, Musty, Halttunen, Cagnoni, Bystedt, and Edstrom.
