Math Puzzle: Move the Tower
Briefly

Edouard Lucas introduced the Tower of Hanoi in 1883, based on the legend of monks tasked with moving disks, symbolizing the impending end of the world.
The solution to the Tower of Hanoi puzzle can be built systematically; with one disk it takes one move, and with two disks, it takes three moves.
When solving for three disks, the method cleverly reduces the problem by referencing the previous two-disk solution and adding the moves for the third disk.
The rules of the Tower of Hanoi state that only one disk can be moved at a time, and no larger disk can be placed on a smaller disk.
