Taco Bell's Crispy Chicken Nuggets experienced overwhelming popularity upon their initial release in December, leading to a nationwide sellout in less than a week. Responding to customer demand, Taco Bell announced the return of the nuggets on April 24. The chain plans to make them a permanent menu item by 2026. Made with all-white meat chicken and flavored with unique sauces, the nuggets have garnered significant attention, with nearly one in six orders including them.
The demand for our nuggets was off the charts, which is why we're looking at making crispy chicken permanent to give our fans what they are telling us they want.
