A judge has denied Spanish football federation president Pedro Rocha's request for a temporary injunction against his suspension, leaving him unable to hold management positions.
Rocha argued that without the injunction, he would be unable to stand in the upcoming RFEF presidential elections, but the court found no evidence of irreparable damage.
The National High Court remarked that there was 'no evidence of the reality of the damages invoked,' as the RFEF elections hadn’t yet been called.
Until Rocha succeeds in an urgent appeal, his brief presidency at the RFEF could end abruptly, leaving a significant vacancy in Spanish football management.
