If you were to believe in destiny or fate, Katie McCabe was preordained to be a footballer. When you come from a family of 11 children, as the captain of the Ireland senior women's football team does, it's something of a foregone conclusion. But egos? Not in the McCabe household. "They wouldn't let you get too far ahead before taking you back down a peg or two," says the Tallaght native, smiling.
