He arrived with his parents and agent and was immediately comforted when Win sat by him and rolled at his feet. Teammates Mikel Merino sent a letter and Martin degaard made a video call. Zubimendi is preparing with the Spain team for World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Bulgaria and says time away makes him appreciate these moments. He values the change from his long-term hometown club and had few doubts about moving. He hopes to reunite soon with his own dog, Lea.
