RB Salzburg has made a strategic decision to hire Thomas Letsch as their new coach in an effort to turn their season around ahead of crucial upcoming competitions.
Rouven Schröder emphasized the importance of quickly filling the coaching position, stating, 'By quickly resolving this important position, we are now able to continue to plan for as successful a rest of the season as possible without any limitations.'
Letsch has a previous connection to the club, having served as a caretaker coach in 2015, and brings experience from his time at Bochum before being let go in April.
Salzburg's participation in the upcoming Club World Cup is based on prior successes, and they face tough competition in the group, including Real Madrid, Al Hilal, and Pachuca.
