Benn fell from fifth to sixth in Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) nominations to FIFA's women's international officials list. FIFA formally accepts five referees, though PGMOL requested a sixth that season and believed she would be accepted due to growth in the women's game and "noises we were hearing" from sports bodies.
