WeSports, based in Malmö, has raised 130 million Swedish kronor (approx. €12 million) shortly after announcing leadership changes. The fundraising occurred in two rounds, with the first round raising 26 million kronor and the second round raising 104 million kronor. Chairman Johan Ryding indicated that demand exceeded supply, leading to a rapid valuation increase from 818 million kronor to 923 million kronor. WeSports is looking to use the funds for growth and potential acquisitions, while they also consider an IPO in the future.
