Parallels brings back woefully slow Windows boot times
Briefly

Parallels has released a technology preview that allows 64-bit x86 operating systems to run on Apple's Arm-based Macs, despite significant performance issues.
According to Parallels, users might want this feature either to test 32-bit x86 Windows applications or as an alternative to Rosetta for running x86_64 Linux VMs.
The boot time for Windows is reported to be between two to seven minutes, with extremely low responsiveness, reminiscent of early 1990s computing.
Despite the current limitations, including no USB support and slow performance, Parallels seems to be planning improvements for this feature.
