Snap Layouts offer eight pre-built screen layouts for arranging open window applications efficiently. Users can access this feature by hovering over an application's maximize icon, which allows them to select their desired arrangement. Once a layout is filled, it saves as a Snap Group for easy retrieval later. Task View in Windows 11 enhances the management of virtual desktops by allowing users to create multiple desktops easily. It has been redesigned and is now separated from the previous Timeline feature, streamlining the user experience.
Snap Layouts allow users to arrange their applications into predefined screen layouts, making it easier to organize workspaces according to personal preferences.
To use Snap Layouts, hover over the maximize icon of an application to select and arrange it within one of eight available layouts.
Once all slots in a Snap Layout are occupied, it saves the configuration as a Snap Group, allowing for quick access to the entire group later.
Windows 11's Task View has been redesigned, enabling users to create multiple virtual desktops and better organize their workflow.
