Andy Samberg Claims 'I Didn't Kill Frisbee'
"Andy Samberg may not have liked Seth Meyers's dog Frisbee, but that doesn't mean he murdered her as a birthday present to himself. Or, at least, that's what he'd would like us to believe. "I didn't kill Frisbee," Samberg told Entertainment Tonight when his The Roses co-star Kate McKinnon asked for his alibi. "Much as that would have delighted me." He was suspiciously missing the "alibi" portion, so the question remains."
"Frisbee died recently after 14 years of life, Meyers shared on August 19, one day after Samberg's birthday. Prompted by McKinnon to explain his "beef with Fris," Samberg elaborated, "Oh, just the general appearance and vibe and essence." Seems like a motive. He added that he hated that Frisbee was "more talon than foot." Samberg ended the segment calling it a "sick burn on Seth" that nearly all obituaries of Frisbee mentioned his hatred of the dog, noting, "He deserves nothing but pain.""
Andy Samberg denied killing Seth Meyers's dog, Frisbee, while joking about disliking the dog and making tongue-in-cheek accusations. Frisbee died after 14 years, with Meyers revealing the death on August 19, a day after Samberg's birthday. Kate McKinnon prompted Samberg to offer an alibi, and Samberg criticized Frisbee's appearance, calling its vibe and essence off-putting and saying the dog was 'more talon than foot.' Samberg characterized repeated mentions of his dislike as a 'sick burn on Seth' and added the line 'He deserves nothing but pain.' The exchange mixed dark humor and pointed jabs at Meyers.
