I'm very conscious of the fact that ABC pays for the show, and YouTube pays nothing - and YouTube gets to sell it and keep half the money. That's quite a deal for them,
KPop Demon Hunters have hit the late-night TV circuit. The Netflix sensations made their live television debut with a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 7th. The singing voices of KPop Demon Hunters EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, together known as HUNTR/X, appeared on Fallon to perform their hit single, "Golden," as well as discuss the song's immense success.
Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon opened their late-night shows Thursday using a mix of humor and solidarity with suspended ABC host Jimmy Kimmel. Stewart opted for satire to critique ABC suspending "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" indefinitely following comments he made about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Colbert took a more serious approach, calling his suspension "blatant censorship." Fallon praised Kimmel and vowed to keep doing his show as usual. Then an announcer spoke over him and replaced most of his critiques about President Donald Trump with flattery.
Trump stated, "The word is, and it's a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, Fallon will be gone." This reflects his belief that the late-night hosts' cancellation is nearing completion and is a victory for him. He continued to criticize their talent, noting, "These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for... destroying what used to be GREAT Television." He expressed satisfaction with their potential departures, saying, "It's really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!"
