Blue Jays Select Dillon Tate
Briefly

Active rosters expand from 26 to 28 today. The Blue Jays selected right-hander Dillon Tate to join the expanded roster. The other new active-roster spot was taken by infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa, who was claimed off waivers from the Pirates yesterday. To add Tate to the 40-man roster, the Blue Jays transferred right-handed pitcher Nick Sandlin to the 60-day injured list. Sandlin's transfer creates the necessary 40-man space for Tate's addition. Additional roster adjustments and roster assignment details may follow as the roster period proceeds. More moves are expected.
