Vince Yokom of the Waller County Economic Development Partnership expressed gratitude for Tesla's investment, stating, "This will be a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for their Megapack product and is significant for local job creation."
Elon Musk noted during a Q4 2024 Earnings Call that Tesla is building a third Megapack factory to ramp up stationary battery storage production, emphasizing the plant's global demand.
