Tesla has initiated a robotaxi service exclusively for its employees in Austin and the San Francisco Bay Area, while also preparing to launch a dedicated service using its Full Self Driving (FSD) technology. Aimed for June 2025, Tesla is conducting tests with 300 operators, focusing on high-stakes driving scenarios to improve its AI software.
