Major disruption on Dart and Rosslare rail services today
"The service disruption is due to an overhead line issue, a spokesperson for the Irish Rail said in a statement, adding that the staff are currently working to resolve the issue. Services currently remain suspended between Lansdowne Road and Dún Laoghaire in Co Dublin. Meanwhile, the Dart services, which are currently operating, are between Greystones/Bray and Dún Laoghaire, as well as Lansdowne Road and Howth/Malahide."
"Bus transfers are operating from Connolly to Bray with train service from Bray for 16.28pm, 17.28pm and 18.28pm Connolly to Rosslare services. Dublin Bus is also honouring rail tickets during the disruption period. "Iarnród Éireann apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused," a spokesperson for Irish Rail said."
An overhead line issue has caused suspension of rail services between Lansdowne Road and Dún Laoghaire in Co Dublin. Staff are working to resolve the overhead line fault. DART services continue to operate between Greystones/Bray and Dún Laoghaire, and between Lansdowne Road and Howth/Malahide. Bus transfers run from Connolly to Bray with connecting train departures from Bray at 16:28, 17:28 and 18:28. Connolly to Rosslare services remain available. Dublin Bus is honouring rail tickets during the disruption. Iarnród Éireann apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.
