Thousands of Monzo customers have reported having difficulties accessing the bank's mobile app. Platform outage monitor Downdetector saw more than 4,000 reports from users complaining of problems on Thursday afternoon. The company has acknowledged "experiencing an issue" with its app - a web page displaying the status of Monzo services says the firm is "continuing to investigate this issue".
Train services on South Western Railway ( SWR) returned this morning between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction after an 11-day blockade to upgrade one of the country's busiest railway corridors. More than 350 engineers have been on site since Christmas Day, carrying out a package of works around Queenstown Road, renewing around a kilometre of track and the electrified third rail, replacing switches and crossings, and upgrading signalling and power systems.
Days after it was first opened to the public, the Finch West LRT faced some temporary mechanical hiccups during the Thursday morning commute. The entirety of Line 6 was out of service at two different intervals this morning due to switch issues, said TTC spokesperson Stuart Green. According to TTC Service Alerts on social media, a mechanical issue arose between Finch West and Jane and Finch stations just before 6 a.m., but was resolved a short while later.
The DLR's new trains have been taken out of service just weeks after the first one started carrying passengers, following reports of problems with one of the trains breaking in wet weather. Transport for London ( TfL) says that although there has been only one isolated incident involving a single train, all three new trains that were in service have been temporarily withdrawn from service.
There will be major disruption to the Elizabeth line this weekend, with most of the core network closed and no trains to Heathrow Airport. Transport for London ( TfL) says that due to essential engineering works, there will be significant changes to Elizabeth line services on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2025. Because of that, the core tunnelled section of the Elizabeth line will be completely closed between Paddington and Abbey Wood / Stratford.
Service on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Main Line will be disrupted during a weekend in November so the MTA can perform infrastructure work, the agency said on Monday impacting the primary rail service between New York City and Nassau and Suffolk Counties. LIRR crews will perform signal upgrade work on the Main Line from 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, to 2:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10.
The service disruption is due to an overhead line issue, a spokesperson for the Irish Rail said in a statement, adding that the staff are currently working to resolve the issue. Services currently remain suspended between Lansdowne Road and Dún Laoghaire in Co Dublin. Meanwhile, the Dart services, which are currently operating, are between Greystones/Bray and Dún Laoghaire, as well as Lansdowne Road and Howth/Malahide.
