"Everyone knows him, he's news."
"Do your job, do your job! The justice in the UK You release people by mistake. It's not my f***ing fault. The judge, he told me you are released on bail. That's it. You destroy your life. It's not my fault. I was in jail. They released me illegally."
"Officers responded immediately and he was arrested."
Kaddour-Cherif, an Algerian registered sex offender, was arrested just before 11:30am after being spotted by a member of the public. A Sky News reporter confronted him as officers handcuffed a man who denied being the escapee while police compared a photo on a phone. Kaddour-Cherif blamed prison authorities for the wrongful release and yelled at officers that the release ruined his life. Police said officers responded immediately and he was arrested. He had been accidentally freed from HMP Wandsworth on October 29 while serving a sentence for trespass with intent to steal and had a prior indecent exposure conviction.
