Dave Courtney, a former gangster and actor, tragically took his own life at his home in Plumstead, London, at 64 years old. During an inquest, it was revealed that he suffered from rheumatoid arthritis which caused him severe pain, and he felt he was 'disguising a lot of pain'. In the months leading to his death, Courtney recorded videos expressing his struggles and the desire not to waste his vibrant life. The inquest concluded that he intentionally took his life, after showing signs of deep despair and making apologies to loved ones in his final messages.
