Kyle Clifford, a 26-year-old man, was found guilty on March 6 of raping his former partner, Louise Hunt, after a violent act that stemmed from the end of their 18-month relationship. In addition to this offense, he had previously confessed to murdering Louise's mother, Carol, and her sisters, Hannah and Louise, using a crossbow in a traumatic attack at their family home in Bushey in July 2024. His trial was held in his absence as he declined to leave his prison cell at HMP Belmarsh, causing legal and procedural complications.
