Person fighting for their life after being hit by train at Upminster

Officers were called to a report of a casualty on the tracks just before 8am today (20 February) at Upminster railway station. Officers and paramedics attended, and a person was found with serious injuries and has been taken to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries.
The British Transport Police (BTP) says this incident is not thought to be suspicious. Train services across the whole c2c network are being cancelled or delayed due to the incident.
