The trial regarding Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers, accused of damaging the iconic Sycamore Gap tree, has been adjourned due to Graham's illness.
Charges against the duo include over £622,000 in damage to the Sycamore Gap tree, a beloved landmark, and additional harm to Hadrian's Wall.
The infamous Sycamore Gap tree, featured in 'Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves', suffered significant damage, raising concerns for tourism and historical preservation.
After the tree was cut down and transported to storage, parts of it are being showcased and saplings grown from its seeds donated for planting.
