A dossier accusing 10 British nationals of war crimes in Gaza has been submitted to the Metropolitan Police. The report, backed by human rights barrister Michael Mansfield KC, alleges serious violations including targeted killings of civilians and attacks on protected sites during the Israeli assault that killed over 50,000. The 240-page document urges Scotland Yard’s War Crimes Team to investigate these claims, emphasizing that perpetrators should face justice. This initiative stems from concerns about the accountability of British nationals involved in alleged crimes against Palestinians and the suffering of the civilian population in Gaza.
‘In the last 18 months we have witnessed international crimes unfold,’ said Mr. Mansfield. ‘Our leaders have done little if anything to prevent the suffering of millions of innocent Palestinians.’
The report details alleged violations, including targeted killings and indiscriminate attacks on civilians, asserting that British nationals must not collude with crimes committed in Palestine.
Michael Mansfield KC emphasized, ‘We ask the War Crimes Team to take this report seriously, investigate, and if proven, arrest and try the individuals named.’
The dossier, compiled by human rights experts, includes claims of forced displacement and attacks on historic and religious sites during the Israeli military operations.
