Three men, Altan Tezcan, Bektas Gurgur, and Curtis Smith, have been imprisoned after committing a violent burglary in Plymouth. Armed with imitation guns, a knife, and knuckledusters, they forcefully entered a home occupied by a family, including two young children. During the incident, they physically assaulted the occupants while demanding money. Gurgur received a 13-year sentence, while Tezcan and Smith were given 8.5 years each. The crime highlighted organized criminal behavior as the group traveled from London to perpetrate the raid, with further sentencing expected for co-defendant, Engin Timur.
