A 41-year-old transient with a history of arrests for burglary was nabbed again on a person's back porch Monday, thanks to a tip from a resident who reported a trespasser, police said. The arrest happened after officers were called about 4:25 p.m.to the 1700 block of Liberty Street. In a statement, police said a homeowner was alerted to activity on the property after an alarm was triggered. The resident then looked at video footage from the alert and saw an unknown person inside the yard.
Police said two women forced their way inside a fourth-floor unit and followed two women to a stairwell on the south side of the building. The victims took an elevator back to the fourth floor and were walking back to the apartment when one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the head of one of the victims, according to police.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place at the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the Medina County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. The three individuals who broke into Sanders' home Nov. 16, as well as the driver of the vehicle involved, have been identified, according to a news release. LOS ANGELES -- A 22-year-old man accused of killing an "American Idol" music supervisor and her husband at their Los Angeles home has been found incompetent to stand trial. Raymond Boodarian is charged with two counts of murder and one count of residential burglary for the fatal shootings of Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca. He also faces special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder during the commission of a burglary.
The suspects left the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived, but officers used automated license plate reader cameras to identify and track down the car, Shih said. Officers stopped the vehicle outside a home in the 100 block of Muirfield Drive. A search of the vehicle turned up a stolen rifle, a privately made handgun and property stolen in the burglary, as well as evidence related to other burglaries, Shih said.
