Far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was arrested for an assault at St Pancras railway station. The British Transport Police confirmed the arrest of a 42-year-old man in connection with grievous bodily harm. This incident took place on July 28. Following the alleged assault, a man was found with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, later discharged from hospital. Robinson, who had fled to Tenerife, was arrested at Luton Airport after arriving from Faro. Video footage captured Robinson near a motionless victim on the ground.
The man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and will be taken to custody for questioning, police said.
British Transport Police previously said that they found a man with 'serious but non-life-threatening injuries' following the incident at the railway station.
Video footage on social media emerged shortly after the alleged assault showing Robinson walking back and forth near a motionless man lying on the floor.
Robinson was contacted by a female BBC reporter for comment after the incident, but Robinson responded with a message that said 'slag'.
